About the Author

Hello! I haven’t blogged in a few years, but I’m back. Do I have a motive? Of course.

My first career was teaching English as a New Language in Syracuse, NY. It was very rewarding, and I miss the kids.

Humor writing, though, was always close to my heart. In 2014, I self-published the book Pretend You Know What You’re Doing: My Journey from Teacher to Humor Writer. I still have a couple dozen copies if you want one—gratis!

I recently finished writing Sixties Do-Over: How Rose and Vera Saved Mother Earth, a magical fiction story of older women doing the heavy lifting that they didn’t do the first time around! It’s meant to make you laugh, but has a big message about actions we must take to slow down climate change. If you happen to know any publishers, could you give them a jingle? I want to get it out into the world! Thanks!
